Sony is working on its 2017 flagship device, which will be known as Xperia Edge Premium. According to the leaks, it will a tough competitor to S8 and S8+, as it will come with some of the best specs and features you will see in the year 2017. Though not much information is provided, but it is expected to be powered by the new Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 chipset accompanied with Adreno 630 GPU. To handle all type of multi-tasking smoothly, it will come with 6GB of RAM.
The phone will run on Android 7.xx Nougat with optimized Sony custom UI. Being a flagship device, Xperia Edge will receive early access to Android O as compared to other Sony smartphones. Rumors are there that the Edge Premium will carry a 4K resolution screen with curves on both the edges, similar to S7 Edge. The build quality will be top-notch and it will have a unibody metal design.
